Good morning!

The end of the year is coming soon, the weeks are getting busier and busier!  Thank you so much to Greer Pino for being “Mrs. Ibanez for the day” last Friday, she did an amazing job!   

We look forward to seeing you at chapel tomorrow.   Please remember to keep your children home if he/she isn’t feeling well!

Upcoming Events and Information:

  • Upcoming Chapel Dates:   5/13, 5/20 (last parent chapel).

  • Reminder for the kindergarten parents, Kindergarten's Spring Fling is Friday, May 6th at 11 a.m. at the church in the Lower Division.  FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND SIBLINGS ARE INVITED! The invitation and permission slip is attached.  Kindergarten students will be dismissed after the performance from the courtyard.  We will walk any students who need to stay in school back to the Primary Division for regular dismissal or ASP.  Primary Division parents:  If you would like your Lower/Middle School child to watch his/her sibling in the Kindergarten Spring Fling, please let your child's homeroom teacher know. 

  • Primary Division Dress-out day, MONDAY, MAY 9!  Jake Falcon K5 student would like for all the Primary Division boys and girls to dress in anything “video games” on Monday, May 9th, also boys/girls can wear Spirit Wear.  Of course, this is optional, or students can wear uniforms as well.  This was purchased at the Celebratio online auction.

  • Primary Division Dress-out day, TUESDAY, MAY 10!  Greer Pino K5 student would like for all the Primary Division girls to dress in anything “flowers” on Tuesday, May 10th, also boys/girls can wear Spirit Wear.  Of course, this is optional, or students can wear uniforms as well.  This was purchased at the Celebratio online auction.

  • Dads’ Club is hosting a cookout at the Primary Division on Thursday, May 12th.  The Parents’ Association will also be assisting with music, decorations, and fun!  Tampa Lunch (hot lunch program) will not be available this day, please click on this link to choose your child’s lunch that day (Dads' Club Cookout Form-Primary Division).   Any questions about the cookout, please contact Carlos Arguello or Brian Keiter (dadsclub@stjohnseagles.org), you can also click on this sign-up to volunteer (https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0D4DA5A82BA7F8CE9-primary).

  • Step right up...Circus Day is coming on Wednesday, May 25th (the last day of school) and we need your help! For those of you who are not familiar with Circus Day, the Parents’ Club sponsors a morning of music, games, crafts, and snacks for our children.

CIRCUS DAY TIMES:

K4 students 10:15 a.m.-11:15 a.m. 

K5 students 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.

STUDENT ARRIVAL TIME:  Please make sure you bring your child to school at the NORMAL TIME (7:30 a.m.-8:00 a.m.). 

WHO CAN ATTEND:  Parents are welcome to attend, (no siblings please). Parents may start arriving at your child's scheduled time unless you are volunteering.  

ATTIRE:  Students may wear comfortable play clothes and appropriate school shoes.   

DISMISSAL INFORMATION:  Dismissal is at 11:30 a.m. we will have walk-up available from 11:30 a.m.-11:45 a.m., car line will start at 11:45 a.m.  All students should be picked up no later than 12:00 p.m. there will NOT be ASP available.

FOOD:  Students will not have lunch at school, snacks will be provided.

MORE INFORMATION:  The children have a blast and it is a great way to end the year!  Parents: we need volunteers to make this a success for our kids.  Please contact Helen Scott to volunteer to help make this a great Circus Day for our children!
