Military Families
Thank you for your service!
South Tampa's close proximity to renowned military institutions such as MacDill AFB offers a unique opportunity to collaborate and educate. Just as we inspire our students to serve our community, we strive to do the same when it comes to our admission process.
We recognize the unique needs of military families. As such, we strive to make the enrollment process at St. John's as stress-free and as flexible as possible. Understanding that a military family relocation rarely aligns with a standard academic calendar, we offer flexibility in regards to application and tuition assistance deadlines. This includes the potential for mid-year enrollment.
We’d love to meet and learn more about you. St. John’s is committed to making an exceptional education accessible to all families. In addition to answering any questions you might have about St. John's, we can also connect you with other St. John's families to share their experience.
St. John's has embraced the many transitions that we face as a military family. My husband has served in the U.S. Army for over 20 years. When choosing a school, it is important for us to send our children to a school that is considered family. SJE understands that military life is different from civilian life. Recently, my husband was deployed. SJE teachers check on my son often and administration has even called and checked on me. I appreciate the extra pictures, updates, and small conversations. My son's friends and their families all have offered a ride home from cross country or even offered me a cup of coffee. The curriculum at SJE allows for a military child to transition easily all while remaining rigorous and competitive. The education at SJE is stellar, but the attention to each individual family's needs is the icing on the cake!
