Two Students Chosen for Guitar Masterclass

Two SJE students - the only two middle schoolers selected to participate - had the prestigious honor of learning from famed guitarist, TY Zhang, in a recent master class at the HCC Guitar Series. Even more impressive? Not only were they chosen alongside mostly college students, they were the only area private school students selected for this honor! They each played a piece - Guilanni Op.50 No 13 and Carcassi Op. 60 #3 - and then received lessons from the master on their pieces and techniques involved. Musicians thrive at SJE and beyond!
