TAMPA, FL (February 10, 2020)—More than 450 St. John’s Episcopal Parish Day School families, faculty and staff, and friends joined together to support Celebratio, the School’s largest annual fundraiser, on Saturday, February 8, at Peter O. Knight Airport.

This year’s flight-themed event, presented by Third Lake Partners, proved to be a night to remember. Between six levels of sponsorship, live and silent auctions, and ticket sales, the fundraiser grossed a record-setting $320,000 to support St. John’s students and programs.

Guests from throughout the Tampa Bay area donned their best flight-inspired attire and indulged in fantastic food and entertainment aboard Soaring Eagles Airlines. Proceeds from this year’s event will fund the purchase of Clear Touch® Interactive Displays for the School’s classrooms, allowing students to work collaboratively through interactive learning. Other programs benefiting from the annual fundraiser include facility improvements, project funding, financial assistance, and faculty and staff professional development.

“Celebratio was an outstanding event,” said Head of School Hugh Jebson. “St. John’s is very fortunate to have the support of so many individuals and organizations who believe in the mission of our school. We are especially grateful to our tremendous Parents’ Club and Celebratio Committee, who are instrumental in the success of this event. Together, we ensure our students and teachers have the resources they need to experience and provide a transformative education.”
