Tuition for the 2012-2013 School Year
St. John’s Episcopal Parish Day School strives to maintain a reasonable rate of tuition, to allow as many children in the Tampa area as possible to attain the quality education we offer.
Forms I and II (K4 and K5): $9,900
Forms III through X (1st through 8th grades): $10,160
(These tuition rates include a $500 non-refundable deposit.)
The Legacy Growth Fund provides for strategic acquisitions or improvements to the School’s facilities, and for major expenditures in supporting expansion of the academic program, recognizing that the School has received many earlier contributions for similar improvements which now benefit current families. The Legacy Growth Fee, which was $1,500 in 2012-2013, is required of every family enrolling a first new student. However, a family is responsible for the fee only once, no matter how many children in a family enroll at St. John’s, and the fee will be paid over a period of several years.
St. John’s tuition includes
all expenses and supplies except: lost/damaged textbooks or library books, lock (Middle Division lockers), calculator or flash drive replacement, lunches, snacks, the After School Program (ASP), and replenishment of school supplies, if necessary during the year. Parents are also responsible for providing children’s school uniforms (all Divisions) and physical education uniforms (Middle Division).
Financial Aid
Financial aid at St. John’s is the monetary assistance provided to reduce educational costs to those families that demonstrate financial need. Need is generally defined as the difference between the School’s educational expenses and a family’s ability to pay those expenses. St. John’s believes that the family has primary responsibility for financing their children’s education to the extent they can. However, a limited amount of financial assistance is available to help families who would otherwise find enrollment impossible. This assistance comes in the form of an outright grant against tuition.

Annual Giving
Giving at St. John’s is vital to the life and mission of the School. St. John’s parents contribute generously to the
Annual Fund, our annual giving program, as well as to other fundraisers presented by the Parents' Club, including
Celebratio. The participation of every family, at any level, is greatly valued because it demonstrates a commitment to the School, and enhances the education received by each of our students at St. John’s.
